Service Description

Many journalist rely on sources to tell stories, but with technology, we have been seeing an increase in data dashboards and visualization to tell the stories focusing on the issues our communities face. Of course, this is a great avenue for politics, they rely on numbers. When we engage in the data collection and use the traditional skill of sourcing, we are much closer to the truth when we have all the facts. We look into some of the best places to get data. Learn how our students can align data with proper sources Review research and studies; field calls to the research contact (using google scholar) We will conduct some data visualization using Google Studio. These are tools students can use NOW to tell stories and to see if the facts align with the "spin" or if the writer spun the facts to get a story.
